Other than the 40km between Portlaoise and Cullahill M7/M8 is complete and is a great drive. I would estimate that the journey is reduced by at least 20mins. Steve fished many times in the early days of the event and returned the last few years with his perfectly turned out Warrior Pro Angler - Jonnie B. He always enjoyed the fishing and the craic in Cork. Steve often said to me that he loved coming to Cork for the species fishing and also he reckoned that the competitors were the nicest bunch of lads he had ever fished with.
